Ducky One 3 DIP Switches
Enable Windows Key Lock: DIP Switch 1 → ON — Enables the Windows Key Lock feature. When ON, use Fn + Alt + Win (hold 3s) to toggle the Windows key on/off during gaming.
Switch to 6-Key Rollover: DIP Switch 2 → ON — Changes from N-Key Rollover (NKRO) to 6-Key Rollover mode. Use 6KRO for compatibility with certain BIOS or KVM switches.
Right Win → Menu Key: DIP Switch 4 → ON — Converts the Right Windows key to a Menu (Application) key for quick context menu access.
Ducky One 3 RGB Backlight
Cycle Backlight Mode: Fn + F10 — Cycle through 11 lighting modes: Wave, Color Cycle, Rain Drop, Ripple, Rainbow Reactive, Reactive, Halo, Breathe, 100% Full, Radar, and OFF.
Turn Off All Backlight: Fn + F10 (hold 3s) — Turn off all backlighting including custom modes CM1 and CM2.
Adjust Red Brightness: Fn + F5 — Cycle through 10 levels of Red color brightness for the current lighting mode.
Adjust Green Brightness: Fn + F6 — Cycle through 10 levels of Green color brightness for the current lighting mode.
Adjust Blue Brightness: Fn + F7 — Cycle through 10 levels of Blue color brightness for the current lighting mode.
Erase RGB Color Settings: Fn + F8 — Reset the Red, Green, and Blue color settings back to default.
Activate Color Palette: Fn + Space — Display a color palette across the keyboard. Press any colored key to apply that color to all keys.
Increase Animation Speed: Fn + → — Speed up the current backlight animation effect.
Decrease Animation Speed: Fn + ← — Slow down the current backlight animation effect.
Record CM1 Custom Zone: Fn + PrtSc — Enter CM1 zone recording mode. Select keys and assign colors using CapsLock+F5/F6/F7 (R/G/B) or CapsLock+Space (palette). Press CapsLock+ScrLk to save.
Record CM2 Custom Zone: Fn + Pause — Enter CM2 zone recording mode. Same color assignment process as CM1. CM1 has priority over CM2 when both are active.
Toggle CM1 Mode: Fn + F11 — Cycle CM1 custom zone: on → breathing → off. Layers the custom color zone over the active backlight mode.
Toggle CM2 Mode: Fn + F12 — Cycle CM2 custom zone: on → breathing → off. Layers the custom color zone over the active backlight mode.
Ducky One 3 Macro Recording
Select Macro Profile: Fn + 1-6 — Switch between 6 macro profiles. Profile 1 is factory default. CapsLock blinks to indicate the selected profile number.
Start Macro Recording: Fn + Alt + Tab (hold 3s) — Enter macro recording mode. CapsLock flashes slowly. Press the trigger key, then record the macro sequence. Choose playback mode: Fn+Q (once), Fn+W (toggle), Fn+E (hold).
Finish Macro Recording: Fn + Alt + Tab (hold 1s) — Exit macro recording mode and save the recorded macro to the current profile.
Delete Current Profile: Fn + Alt + Backspace — Delete all macros in the currently selected profile. Cannot delete Profile 1 (factory default).
Ducky One 3 Multimedia
Mute: Fn + Win + A — Mute/unmute system audio.
Volume Up: Fn + Win + B — Increase system volume.
Volume Down: Fn + Win + C — Decrease system volume.
Play / Pause: Fn + Win + D — Toggle play/pause in the active media player.
Next Track: Fn + Win + F — Skip to the next track in the active media player.
Previous Track: Fn + Win + G — Skip to the previous track in the active media player.
Open Calculator: Fn + Win + H — Launch the system calculator application.
Ducky One 3 Special
Toggle Windows Key Lock: Fn + Alt + Win (hold 3s) — Enable/disable the Windows key to prevent accidental activation during gaming. Requires DIP1 to be ON. LED indicator confirms the toggle state.
Toggle Mouse Mode: Fn + Alt + ScrLk — Activate mouse emulation mode on TKL layout. An M indicator lights up. Use designated keys for mouse cursor movement and clicks.
Key Remap Mode: Fn + Alt + K (hold 5s) — Enter key reassignment mode to swap modifier keys (Esc, Ctrl, Win, Alt, CapsLock). Press CapsLock to cycle available functions, Esc to save. Max 2 keys can be remapped simultaneously.
USB Repeat Rate Control: Fn + F9 (hold 3s) → Fn + F1-F8 — Enable Function mode (Fn+F9 hold 3s), then set repeat delay (Fn+F1-F4: 1x/2x/4x/8x) and repeat rate (Fn+F5-F8: 1x/2x/4x/8x) for faster key repeat.
Factory Reset: Left Win + Right Win (hold 3s) — Reset all settings to factory defaults. Backlight flashes 3 times to confirm. Clears all macros, custom lighting, and key remaps.
Demo / Display Mode: Left Ctrl + Left Shift + CapsLock (while plugging in) — Hold these keys while connecting USB to enter demo mode. The keyboard cycles through all RGB effects automatically. Unplug to exit.
